The US Supreme Court refused appeal of Japanese car manufacturer Nissan Motors and has allowed former Israeli Uzi Nissan to retain his domain names Nissan.net and Nissan.com. He is still allowed to sell advertisements on this popular website. A certain Mike Row accepted a few freebies to surrender his domain name mikerowsoft.com to a somewhat better known software house.

On the local scene, a Yitzhak Liber has offered his domain name whynet.co.il for sale, and expects to make money from someone interested in competing with popular Israeli news website Ynet. In response Ynet opened proceedings against him for blackmail and various other offences.
