Following a challenge by Olympus, last week the United States Patent Office upheld 13 of the 17 claims in a major patent awarded to "Given Imaging", an Israeli Company that manufactures a miniature camera-in-a-pill. It is expected that "Given Imaging" will respond to the objections concerning the remaining four claims.
