Finjan Software, Ltd., an Israeli Company that provides proactive web security solutions for businesses and organizations, announced earlier today that it has filed a patent infringement lawsuit in the US, against Secure Computing and its subsidiaries CyberGuard and Webwasher, claiming infringment of Finjan's intellectual property.
Finjan is seeking an injunction to prevent continued sales of the Webwasher Secure Content Management software suite, and are claiming damages for willful infringement.
Finjan has 16 issued US patents, at least five of which claim priority from an early application with a priority date of November 8, 1996.
