Iraq Waives Israel Boycott Declaration Requirement

It is apparently now possible to get trademark registrations in Iraq without declaring compliance with the Israel Boycott.

for more details.

Has the Messiah come? Who knows? Will Israeli companies be able to register trademarks in Iraq? Probably not. Nevertheless, the development is a positive one, and I take this opportunity to salute the International companies that ignore the Arab boycott and to condemn those that conform.

Finally, I would like to recommend the AGIP website for their continued good work in reporting IP developments in the Arab world.
