Syria Gives Trademark Applicants 3 Months to File Israel Boycott Compliance

Apparently Syria will void all trademark applications whose applicants fail to provide a declaration that they do not sell in Israel. The deadline for providing such a declaration is 10 August 2008.

Until now, many companies filed applications and did not get around to submitting the relevant declaration.

We hope that the International community will politely tell Syria what they can do with the boycott.
