Verint Systems Inc. of Melville and Nice, an Israeli-based competitor have announced that they have reached agreement to end the patent litigation involving speech-recognition technology which has been going on for the past couple of years.
Verint is a unit of Manhattan-based Comverse Technology Inc., which has a large Israeli division, and Nice Systems Ltd. based in Ra’anana, Israel, have published a joint statement announcing that they have agreed to settle and dismiss all patent disputes between the two companies. The financial and other terms of the deal were not published.
