The non-profit organisation that operates the “Little House on the Prairie” museum in Kansas is being sued by the makers of the former TV show with the same name.
The museum is located on the homestead where Laura Ingals Wilder the author of the series of books, lived as a young girl in 1870.
Family Friendly Productions, the makers of the long-running TV drama filed a lawsuit last week in Los Angeles federal court, claiming trademark infringement. They claim that they bought the rights from descendents of Wilder.
Shouldn’t this be a case of fair use???
