Hackademy Award trademark annoys the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has requested that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) revokes the HACKADEMY AWARDS trade mark on the ground that it may cause confusion.
The Hackademy Awards are given by the Breathe California of Sacramento-Emigrant Trails, to films with the most and least incidences of smoking, with ‘What Happens in Vegas’ getting an award for being smoke free and ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ getting an award for being smoky.

I think the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is a ridiculously pompous name for a self congratulatory organization. I can see the Hackademy Awards might tarnish the name of the Hollywood Oscar producers, but confusion? not convinced. I thought amendments to the US Constitution allowed satire…
