		<description><![CDATA[The acting commissioner of patents has announced that that the issuing of the guidelines is on hold. It is not clear when (if?) they will be published. 

I don&#039;t thing that they will prevent patenting of software in Israel though. In the past, although in theory the Israel Patent Office didn&#039;t allow software patents, in practice they did. 

The indications are that it will become easier not harder so long as the software invention is technological.]]></description>
