Israel semiconductor inspection company Camtek http://www.camtek.co.il/php/index.php have sued German competitor Rudolph. The patent infringement lawsuit, filed in German Federal court, alleges that Rudolph’s edge inspection equipment sold under the ” Axi” and “Edge Inspection module E25, 30, 35″ trademark infringes Camtek’s patent no. DE 101 31 665 B4
Roy Porat, Camtek’s Chief Executive Officer, commented: “Camtek views its IP as a valuable asset allowing it to achieve technological advantage over its competitors, and will vigorously protect its assets against violators to the full extent permitted by the law.”
