Dr. Michael Factor is an Israel Patent Attorney and managing partner of Factor – Patent Attorneys.
Born in the UK in 1969, Michael relocated to Israel in 1994. Michael is an Israel Patent Attorney and a member of the AIPPI. Before setting up his own firm, Michael managed the Patent Department of Seligsohn Gabrieli Levit.
Michael has a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and an M.Eng. in Materials Science and Engineering from Imperial College, London, and a Law Degree (LLB) from the Ono Academic College, Israel. Michael has authored about a dozen scientific papers in leading journals.
Michael has very wide experience in drafting patent applications and representing clients before the local and international patent offices, and manages the physical sciences and engineering department of the firm.
Under the stage name of Max HaKosem, Michael also has an international reputation as a magician specializing in children’s entertainment and comedy. Michael is an honorary member of E.M.I. the umbrella organization of performing artists in Israel and has authored a large number of articles on intellectual property and the entertainer in international journals such as The Magician.
