Israel Patent Office to Publish Granted Patents for Opposition Purposes without Delays

Due to a backlog and delays in publishing, the July 2010 Patent Office Journal was pulished only at the end of  November 2010. This state of affairs has been going on for years, and once upon a time, was related to the time for manual typsetting.

On 30 December 2010, the Israel Patent Office managed to publish the August, September, October, November and December Journals, and intends to produce the journals  at the end of each month, publishing details regarding allowed applications and other developments in a timely manner.

The details, once published, will be transferred to Impadoc, WIPO, Espace, etc., and should be available to searchers shortly afterwards.

In view of this development, it will become less necessary to perform watches and to alert clients of granted patents that they may be interested to oppose.

Everyone involved in this development is to be heartily congratulated.
