Apology

mistakeOn June 27, I posted a post entitled “Renewal Timely Paid, but Israel Patent Lapsed Anyway“.
In the original post, which has now been corrected, I erroneously stated that Reinhold Cohn made the renewal payment and did not subsequently submit proof of payment to the Israel Patent Office.

However, I have since learned that the payment of the renewal fees was made by a manager of the Patentee, and not by Reinhold Cohn. Reinhold Cohn subsequently acted on behalf of the Patentee, in petitioning to have the Register rectified.
I unreservedly apologize to my colleagues at Reinhold Cohn for the mistake.
