Subsequently, on 14 May 2015, Xiaomi Singapore Pte. Ltd filed Israel Trademark Application Number 270078 for Mi Pad. Since Apple Inc.’s marks have not yet issued, a competing marks procedure was instituted and both parties are invited to a hearing before Ms Jacqueline Bracha on 1 February 2016 to states their cases.
